As Far As The Eye Can See... Kind of

This time I've been working on getting the edge of the sea to look like more of a natural fade. Although a bit of a hack, the way I've done it works,
Firstly I've extended the sea floor by using a large half sphere with its faces flipped inwards and positioned just bellow the sea plane. Using an unlit material I can match the color of the sea bed without shadows interfering.
Next is the large cylinder much like the clouds but with its UVs mapped slightly differently (to save on having a new mesh you could use another UV channel). To get the gradient I've made a custom shader that uses a gradient node and a couple of other parameters so I can control the range of the gradient at any time unlike with a texture. Again its been placed just above the water plane.
The last part of the effect comes from the skybox materials ground colour. As there can be gaps between your meshes that ground colour can come through so play with the colour until it looks right.
And there you have it, infinite sea... kind of!
